Monday is the first day of Refresh, Restore, Renew: Come Alive! We'll start at 4:30PM with a live orientation, Open Heart sharing, and a worship time shortly thereafter. After worship, participants will watch Rev. Gary Pope-Sears' evening message on their own and then reconnect at 6:00PM for breakout sessions and whole group discussion. We'll wind the day down with some social time (bring a dessert to the screen, if you wish!) at 6:45PM. Don't forget to sign up for 24/7 Prayer! We're so glad that you're spending the week with us!
You can find the full schedule here.
As we seek to live into the fullness of God's grace, it is helpful to look back in appreciation before looking forward with hope. I would invite you to gather one dozen rocks of any size or composition in preparation for my first talk of our time together. With them we will remember with thanksgiving at least 12 ways God has been with us along the way.
Looking forward to all we will share in the coming days,
Gary Pope-Sears
Pastor Gary Pope-Sears begins the week with a message of "Come Alive!" Drawing a parallel between the Israelites in Joshua 4:1-7 and his own life, Pastor Gary uses twelve stones to build an alter as a reminder of the different ways that God has moved in his life. He encourages participants to reflect on their own ups, downs, blessings, and difficulties and to build an altar of their own to the Lord.
