Wednesday's morning meditation centers around Psalm 126. Join us for live reflection at 7:30am or spend time in your own private thoughts. Rev. Karen Ballard will encourage us to receive abundance during the Morning Message and will also host a live Lunchtime Chat (12:00pm) for those who wish to engage in further discussion.
Our infamous and epic Joke-A-Thon begins at 4:30pm, followed by worship at 5:00pm. Rev. Gary Pope-Sears brings the Evening Message "Live Abundantly" and then we'll come back together for a time of whole group reflection at 6:00pm. Check your e-mail for your prayer group meeting time and don't forget to schedule some time for your own personal prayer. Today is our second day of Community Care and our focus is on putting down roots and cultivating our neighborhoods with love and care.
You can find the full schedule here.
When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.
Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.

Rev. Karen Ballard uses Psalm 23 to remind us to receive and embrace the abundance that the Good Shepherd wants to provide. She notes that the Good Shepherd provides abundance by guiding us through difficult, dark times and by giving safety, rest, and peace. Pastor Karen exhorts us to be good sheep: people who are content with what they already have, are willing to rest, and can follow the shepherd.
Have something to say about Pastor Karen's message? Join us for Lunchtime Chat at 12:00pm or drop a note onto the Padlet below.
For his third message, Pastor Gary discusses Pentecost and the early disciples' commitment to sharing abundant living with people all over the world. He reminds us that abundant living doesn't always mean everything is easy, but is instead living in accordance with God's plan. He encourages us to seek the exposure of people of great faith, to explore things that bring life to our spirits, and to expect feedback from God and other believers.
