Tuesday begins with morning meditation, a time of quiet reflection before the hustle and bustle of the day. Join us for live lectio divina at 7:30am or spend time in your own private reflection. Rev. Karen Ballard will encourage us to live abundantly during the Morning Message and will also host a live Lunchtime Chat (12:00pm) for those who wish to engage in further discussion.
Get to know other participants a little better during our 4:30pm mixer, then join us for worship at 5:00pm. The Evening Message with Rev. Gary Pope-Sears is viewed on your own, but we'll come back together for a time of whole group reflection at 6:00pm. Check your e-mail for your prayer group meeting time and don't forget to schedule some time for your own personal prayer. Today is our first day of Community Care and our focus is on cleaning up our neighborhoods (and our acts!).
You can find the full schedule here.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on this passage! Please join us at 7:30am for lectio divina or post your meditation on the Padlet below.
Reverend Karen Ballard starts her morning message with the song "Abundantly" by Yohann Anderson, which states "and this one God who made all these [things] is interested in you and me." She uses John 10:10 to describe the overflowing abundance that Jesus, the Good Shepherd, offers to his flock. Pastor Karen reminds us to learn the voice of the shepherd and listen to the direction of the Holy Spirit in order to have a "rich and satisfying life."
Have something to say about Pastor Karen's message? Join us for Lunchtime Chat at 12:00pm or drop a note onto the Padlet below.
For his second message, "Receive Abundance," Pastor Gary focuses on God's provision and redemption. Using the parables of The Prodigal Son and The Good Samaritan, Pastor Gary reminds us of Christ's example of abundant grace and mercy that cannot be earned or paid for. It can be difficult to receive the abundance of God, so Pastor Gary challenges everyone to participate by savoring an indulgence while thinking about how much more God longs to give his children.
